So below is what consumed me for the last 2 1/2 weeks. I'm calling this group The New Orleans Series. A simple, direct, and factual title because I made them for an upcoming show in New Orleans. It all began with a superbly shitty sheet of plywood (as usual). I enlisted the help of Dad and with skill saw in hand we cut several 11"x13" pieces from said shitty wood. Next, I turned to one of my most cherished material possessions...my 1960's Alber Van Luit & Co. wallpaper sample book. I carefully chose several of my favorite designs and glued them to the wood panels - which are no longer looking so shitty. Then the studio exploded with toys, which in turn led to the work below. The End.
