Christmas Commish.

Rowdy the Third

If the Price's were Chickens

I like to overlay the art world with the real world at times. Here is one example. I was lucky enough to have a couple of commissions this holiday season - thank you friends with money. Now, a big question I get is, "how much do you charge?". I would totally enjoy the question a lot more if it were rephrased a bit. One of my favorite quotes of all time is from Eastbound and Down (if you are not familiar with this robust comedy...get acquainted) and it goes a little something like this..."So what's your commish? What's the damage?". That's what I'm talkin' about. Makes the conversation a little more casual.

Airport the Series

Seat 41A

Airport Security

Airport Food

Airport Coffee

Airport Bar

Airport Bar after Boarding

Airport is a collection of drawings I completed onsite at the Sydney International airport. What's a girl to do during an eight hour layover but get some work done! Each is a 6"x10" pastel and charcoal sketch on gessoed roofing paper. (They are for sell at if you are in the market for some art).
