Frames for the cubs.

These guys needed some extra special frames to hug them.  I've been carrying around a stack of frames for the last couple of years and it's time to start utilizing them dangit.  So I slapped on some black paint, threw on some decorative swirls, cut the painted cub panels to fit, and glued those bad boys in - cubs and frames are fused together for life.

Vulture Kings

So I'm sussing out this specimen business...trying to make connections...a little comparing...a little contrasting - good cop/bad cop kinda stuff but in a really nerdy art way when I stumbled on what I find a little bit fantastic.

There is something I like about a drawing of two turkey vulture skins (that live out their lives tucked away in a drawer) done on butcherpaper (that was headed for the dumpster) surrounded in a gaudy golden too-expensive-for-me-to-buy-frame.

Well guess what?  I OWN THIS DANG FRAME (I totally bought it a few years ago) AND THESE BEAUTIFUL VULTURES WILL NOW CALL IT HOME!  Just need to finalize some mark-making and scrape together some coin to have it properly put together.
